WHY DID YOU STOP MOVING?
Whatever it is that we have become, there’s still more yet to be seen,so we must go out more. Perhaps one has gotten to a point of little or no motivation, I assure you comfort will still come from seeking new frontiers. Depression is real, fatigue is most certain to happen, and discouragement may show up at unexpected times. The way out is still to retreat for a while, then launch forward. Earlier at the clinic, I met an elderly lady training to be a nurse. She is not settling for less. She is launching for more. Why are you not reaching out?
Personally, I learn more by observation as often time I see answers in look continuously, but recently I felt I’ve exhausted the excitement that comes from the things I’ve seen. I needed to refresh my mind. I love nature, and I feel it’s time I take conscious steps in that direction. I told my wife to let us go and see nature for two days. I enjoy it more when I watch nature alone and quietly, but I may not be able to do that with my team present.
For every land that has been conquered, there is still more. For every soul that has been reached with the gospel, there are still billions yet not reached. Even if all the world has been reached, I’m sure not all have been properly discipled. In essence, there’s more to launch for.
This is not a call to be ridiculously ambitious or less proud of our accomplishment. It is only a renewed call to a sense of growth and duty. We must grow continually and serve for as long as possible. Maybe, one day, we can say, like Paul, that we have fought a good fight, we have finished our course, we have kept the faith.
