FAMILY DATES ARE GOOD CATCHING UP TIMES

Time out with the family can not be wrong at any time, especially if you have spent a good time at work during the week. I had initially thought of picking an extra shift at work but I later changed my mind to be with my lovely wife and son.

We spent the evening at Bluewaters in Greenhyte which is quite close to our place in Dartford. Our first stop was Primark to pick up a few things for the boy resuming school. Shopping is always a boring adventure for me, I prefer to order online unlike my wife.

After Primark, we went to Starbucks to get some snacks. Since it was getting late in the evening, we went for the pack of “too good to go” You know what I mean?

My people were still enjoying the ambiance of Starbucks then my wife remembered a dinosaurs park in the building and suggested we visit since AB always talks about them. Unfortunately, they’ve closed but AB would not understand why you promised dinosaurs and did not deliver on that.

The only way to pacify him was a pizza date. So our last stop for the night was Pizza Express. It was a great place, I enjoyed their pizza more than that of PizzaHUT and it was quite affordable.

We had a great time together and I think the time spent together was more valuable than a day’s wage.

Love this, remind me of the lyrics of “Time Well Wasted” by Brad Paisley:

    ‘It was time well wasted
And there’s no way I trade a few more dollars in my pocket I could’ve spent
For a day I’ll never forget
    No, I didn’t get a thing done
But I sure soaked up every minute of the memory we were makin’
And I count it all as time well wasted”

Love your writing and did you notice it is getting better? Please write. I sense the grace coming out more.
