ALIGNMENT, WORK ETHICS & SUCCESS.

ALIGNMENT, WORK ETHICS & SUCCESS.

You must have heard that when you seek first the kingdom of God, every other good thing of life will be added to you. That is potentially true provided the human factors are in place. Have you not seen God’s people, people in fivefold ministry and perceived spiritual people wallow in poverty or misery? One will be forced to ask why they don’t have it all since they are seeking the kingdom.

Before I write further on that, I can also say that alignment with the evil agenda also qualifies you to a level of success based on their definition. However, we must also note that not all prostitutes, beer parlour owners, yahoo boys, scammers, and drug pushers are successful, especially financially. There are bad people and there are rich bad people. So beyond alignment to either the kingdom of God or Satan, there are other work ethics or principles that bring success.

Bishop Oyedepo said in one of his books that sheep will always go to where the grass is greener. This means agreeing to be a shepherd is not enough to be successful, having access to greener grass is even more important. We must continue to question how deeply invested we are in our dreams and goals. The more invested we are the more likely the kingdom we are aligned to will make resources available to us.

Think about it, Rihana wearing just underwear on the street will likely generate more traffic and generate funds more than Shalewa in Osogbo which also decided to even walk naked on a major road. Both are aligned to a kingdom but their reputation for work differs.

What I am saying to myself in essence is that after deciding to seek the kingdom of God in our daily affairs, we must put in the work excellently and consistently do so.
