HELLO DARTFORD
In Africa where there is a poor system of governance, the easiest thing for people to do is look up to God for everything. Many Africans, therefore, look up to God not because they love him but for the possibility of getting their needs met. In sharp contrast here in the UK where the system of governance appears to be better, many folks appear to have outgrown their love or need for God.
Think about it, life itself cannot just be about eating, drinking and fun adventure. Since our breathing will stop one day, it is important to ask questions about what happens to us afterwards. This suggests the importance of seeking to know the creator of the universe and the humans in it. If God created us then he must have created us for a purpose and if he created us for a purpose, we can surely expect that he will judge or evaluate us based on his intention.
We have all drifted away from God through our diverse passion but for the magnitude of God’s investment in us, God has done everything needed to bring us back in sync with him. He did this through Jesus Christ. Therefore believing Jesus Christ is not merely about what to eat, drink or have a seemingly good life. It is more about living according to the plan of the one that gave us the breath that we have.
All forms of fulfilment and happiness can be found in God through Jesus Christ if you give him a chance today. Give him half a chance and he will blow your mind.
Jesus loves you.
You can call or chat with me for further conversation about Jesus Christ and what He means to us.
